Description

The hatchling sea dragon invites the young mermaid to come over to his clam shell and play "tea party". ==NOTES== I’m still trying to get the hang of putting together underwater scenes. I keep wanting to put in all the undersea props I have, so I have to remind myself that I can always use them in future renders! Rendered in June 2020 in Poser Pro 11 Firefly at 4400 × 2475 pixels. View full size on my blog. ==CREDITS== SCENE: 2nd World Underwater Wonders; Coral by Traveler; Seaweed from Captain Nemo’s Hunting Grounds; 3D Underwater Fauna: African Cichlids (fish); Shipwreck and anchor by BB. CHARACTER: K4 wearing MerBabies tail, top, hair, and accessories by Mada and Thorne. Hatchling Seadragon by Michael Lane.

I know, right?! I was working on my second or third undersea render when I had that realization, so I took note of various buildings and vessels and even furniture I might drop under the water in future scenes. Captain Nemo's Hunting Grounds comes with some materials to use on just about any item that might've found a resting place under the sea, so the possibilities boggle the mind! Maybe now I'll finally have a use for the 37 castle models in my runtime :-)

Thank you for the comment! For lighting undersea scenes I've been playing with various combinations and modifications of the lights that came with 2ndWorld Underwater Waters and Cybertenko's Captain Nemo's Hunting Grounds, both of which gave me a great start in understanding how to light a scene below the sea!
