It's just a shame nothing will change, it's not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last. Racism is a thing and it's not going away no matter how much people protest. Just like the covid 19 virus is not just going to go away. Some people still don't get how serious it is. Not only are they risking their own lives but also that of others, including the police, who got dragged in to this because of the shear stupidity of one officer, because none of the protesters know who is carrying the virus and who is not.

I know, this is like a Neverending Story in the whole World, since the white have discovered that the black are cheap labor force and that can be treated like Cattle - But everything takes Revenge at some point and then the Karma strikes back twice as strongly (Corona was just a little foretaste)!!! It's truly touching to see so many people around the world support a vital cause (and sad knowing this is probably neither the first nor the last time protests like these are going to fall on deaf ears in many places of the world).

However, I do agree with the sentiment that we're having miserable timing here--it's probably a time to stand side by side only figuratively, not literally, or we're running the risk of spreading more than just the word. I know a demo can be a very powerful event and feel quite ecstatic, but participants really shouldn't throw distancing guidelines out the window just yet. These are potential superspreader events.

Unfortunately, I cannot condone these people. I don't approve of those demonstrators in the UK who were firing rockets directly at 10 Downing street and I certainly don't agree with them defacing Winston Churchill's memorial!

I (and Rene) can't agree either, such guys are only there because of the riot and to let the pig out, luckily everything went peacefully with us!

I'm glad people over the world are supporting the fight against racism. All lives SHOULD indeed matter, but in the eyes of some, some lives matter less: as evidenced by how three police officers held down George Floyd and prevented him to breathe, and ignoring his plea to breathe.

Change is coming. I truly believe that. It may not be all at once but the world is fed up with the cruelty inflicted on our fellow man. Keep the message going. Truth to Power across the Globe.

Black Lives Matter. Its time things changed.

ALL lives matter. When will we realize that??

My deepest hope is this time we can stem the tide of hate, and truly change.

This is also my wish for the FUTURE!
