You can google "Mandelbulb 3D" and get many tutorials about this fractal software. It's free and both Mac and PC version avaliable. And also, you can find many video tutorials which explain basic workflow with Mandelbulb 3D like these:

There's a section called "Mandelbulb Maniacs" - it's all about this software i use to create fractals you see.
