Great picture; reminds me somewhat of the photos of of Bob Carlos-Clarke (also from the 80s!)
... I'd forgotten that song till i saw this. Quintessential of its time, especially with those Simmonds electronic drums! (to think... I once considered trading in my real ones for a set of those! Fortunately for me they were too expensive at the time!)
