Just a quick one to have some new pictures in the gallery.
Hope you like it, it is part of an animation, so the quality is a bit lower in resolution otherwise render times would have been forever.

Wow, that grass is photoreal, how many different sizes and colours did you use to get that effect? Trees, shadows and horses look great, the fence is a bit too light i think. (Were the horses done in poser or did you model them yourself?) Magnificient work Dimitri, any chance we can see the animation too?

Hi Alfons, 5 types of grass and several lights placed in different locations to get the result. The horses are poser (i have several done in Max as well, but they were to high on polys to render and animate quickly) The animation is for a client and i can therefor not show it here. I might take several other stills and put them on line. I agree with the fence color. Rgds, Dimitri.

Maybe you should post a grass tutorial somewhere... It would be superb... anyway, what version do you using?

Really good picture. My only comments for improvement are that the tree trunks in the far background look a little lit too light. The horse in the foreground has a very unusual colouring abd appears to be taking notice of something immediately in front of it on the ground (position of ears).
