Description

I don't use Blender too often. Or at least, not till recently. I had to make a prop for one of my Daz renders, and then decided to start practice modeling. Everything in this render I modeled recently, except for the glasses, DVD player, DVDs, and a few of the books. Those were from past projects that I gave up. This is my first real render in Blender in eight years. It took me about a week to finish. Originally, i was just making a bookcase with a few books. Eventually, it evolved into this. I spent the week learning modeling techniques, lighting, nodes, and compositing. That was fun! Still a lot to learn, but I'm glad I gave Blender a chance again. Software used: Blender 2.83, Photoshop CS2 GPU: RTX 2060 Logitech G600 Mouse Rendered in Cycles @ 1500 samples with denoising. Total render time was over an hour (sorry, didn't pay attention to the exact amount of time). Some post-work done in compositing and some level adjustments in PS.
