a few years ago I posted a picture of one of these giants and it was at a the same mall as this one.I think it was dead both times

I love these moths.. They look like a jet fighter, but they can hover like a hummingbird. Great shot of this beauty, Richard!

the detail on the moth is really fine, and you caught it on a surface which really sets it off. I love the detail of that concrete, or stone, or whatever it's on---your contrast of grays with whites make a great backdrop for the moth. Fine piece of shooting.
