I see Antenais' polka dots! (I bought those too) I also see I am not the only one who struggles with DS filtering/spreading black on red designs--I have tried various workarounds (bump maps under the designs, , sharpening the edges, to no effect.) My theory is that the renderer is color blind and filters by grayscale and the value contrast between that strong red and the black is too close for the renderer to split apart, so it flips the pixels around. DS also doesn't seem to have an option to shut that off the way older versions of Poser did. I haven't tried doing an edge outline with black or red overlaid "glitter" or a Top Coat. Top Coat or Diffuse Overlay might do it too (black above red).
