Description
Hey everyone! I'm finished... This was a fun scene painted in acrylic. My gosh, the cottage was a mix of acrylic and colored pencils. I do need to practice more on the homes and cottages... But, I do want to say, I did not use any form of help with that cottage, in the since, I didn't use a pattern or even a reference. I drew it freehand from memory and work on it until it looked as good as I was going to get it. If I had wanted to be sure it looked even better, I would have gotten a photo of a real home, or cottage and I would have traced it on to my painting, so I would have been even more accurate. But, I think it looks good enough, for just freehand creation. I'm mostly proud of how the sky turned out, it seems to glow, with back-lit clouds, and of course the rays help give it that intense feeling of something holy, which I love in a painting. I hope you like it too! Thanks for looking at this finished one and all of the previous iterations, I'd shared with you before this completed work, Take care my friends!! God bless you!!! Very beautiful - the sky is very striking, it stood out to me too. As do the trees.

Thank you so much PandaB5, I think that my painted work is best when it's just the Landscape itself, not that the cottage is is bad, but, it need to practice more with respect to buildings and homes. I could have use a photo of a real home and traced it onto the canvas, that may have help me to make a more realistic looking cottage. I just freehand drew the house from memory and painted it and used color pencils to add more details to it. I thank you for your support, It's greatly appreciated my friend!! ♥ Dan Seitzinger
