Notre corps est une interface étonnante dans notre rapport au monde. Quand je demande un effort à mes muscles, il me semble d'abord qu'ils se projettent vers l'extérieur, comme s'il fallait que j'expérimente leur force à dominer la matière. Pourtant, dans cet exercice, il arrive un moment où la présence à mon corps est toute en intériorité, l'effort se transmet en moi, par la fatigue, le bien être, une impression mêlée entre nouvelle aisance et peine. C'est bien beau de laisser parler son corps, encore faut-il être à son écoute ! Ce que je trouve merveilleux, c'est qu'en allant à la découverte du monde, il puisse tout autant nous apprendre sur nous même ; et je ne pense pas que cela passe uniquement par l'intellect et la volonté. Combien de fois, ai-je surpris mon cerveau à vouloir exiger de mon corps un surcroît d'énergie, parce qu'il la pensait possible ; dans ces cas-là le corps est le premier à envoyer des signaux de sa défaillance probable. Donc oui, le corps est un extraordinaire appareil d'écoute.

So true, we have to listen to our bodies even when we don't like what it is saying. In our youth it is not so difficult to do, but as we get older I think we fight it because our mind remembers life with few limits. This young woman is in great shape and the light is brilliant but is this as she really is or as she remembers being? Thought provoking work excellently done!
