Description
Round and round we go; how high we go nobody knows!
Here I tried to capture a classic feature of our "ride photos" from Disney trips: apparently I always have this kind of zen-like expression of peace, no matter how "thrilling" the ride, while my wife alternates between screaming and laughing!
======
In honor of LGBT Pride, Fehn and Vila are enjoying "Pride Day" at their local Carnival (just as my wife and I might do if we had charming carnival nearby).
This is the third of a series of scenes from that day.

Fun little characters and I really like the lighting and minimalist approach to the use of props. Well done.

Here's a cool thing about the Swing Ride: it comes with a dial for "spin and swing" that makes the seats swing out on their own. So I started out with the dial at zero and parented each figure to her specific swing. Then I posed them to be sitting on the swing, which at that point was just like a regular chair. Once I got them sitting with their hands on the chains, I turned the dial on the Swing Ride and watched Fehn and Vila fly around, getting higher and higher! (It was so fun I almost felt tempted to animate it!) Once their swings were at a good height, I adjusted their legs (to account for gravity) and that was it. So yes, some work went into posing, but no more so than on any set! (I did the same thing with the Ferris Wheel, although when I made Fehn and Vila go around that one, I got dizzy once they got to the top :-)
