Description

Now, this is what I'm talkin' about! Apparently I am not the only one having fits about the fuzzy, noisy images DS 4.12 has been mangling. They even sent out a fix. An update most people don't know they have since it wasn't announced and updated without your knowledge. Its a little fix they added called Post SSIM. Its in the render settings where the 'progressive' settings are. It opens as a drop down and gives you a couple of options and its a small learning curve, but it works great! You would think they'd want you to know about it, right? It makes a world of difference. I can render without pulling out my hair again.

Certainly an outstanding render. IRAY does a lot of things right. I am glad you got this figured out. Are you going to go back and re-render some of the real hair puller's? It would be worth something to the DAZ community seeing a side by side with a bit of commentary on the settings usage. Or maybe take it to the forums where folks would be more likely to be interested.

Looks great, Angel!

I'll have to keep that in mind when I reload DS on the RTX2080ti machine - hope to get that done this weekend. I just added a 2TB SSD, so it should be able to handle what I'll throw at it..
