Description

Bryce - Spiralizer - all my own textures Reflections - Refractions - Iridescence I'm going to start posting some of my Bryce explorations of Reflection - Refraction - and Iridescence. In these two images today, is where I began to discover I could create Water textures to be co-equal with the iridescent Glass figures I had been creating for some time. Today, the model in both images is the same figure, just rotated somewhat, and textured in different iridescent Glass textures with different atmosphere, lighting, and Water. On sites where the name "dragongirl" is taken, I have sometimes used the name, "Shiny Things." As the weeks go by - I am sure you'll see why. :-)

working with variations as I do, I can relate totally to using the same shape only in different angles, lightings, etc. This is gorgeous. The many greens mixed with the deep purples make for a stunning juxtaposition. And the hard glassy part of the sphere is turned to pure energy in its reflection...and you have layers in the glass too. The water has deep muted oranges, with purples; and that sky is to die for. (Your logo "Skeetz" is in a beautiful purple too.) I know nothing about 3D techniques, so how you do this is a mystery to me; but I like that you altered a shape, an entity, to make a whole different piece out of it: the many moods of a single being. Beautiful piece. And btw, I always zoom to full, and there's nothing wrong with mentioning it to people, just because we're all in the habit of not zooming...I don't want to miss a thing, and often a zoomed image reveals so much more than its display version (normally, display versions are a lower resolution, so zooming shows the artist's original intent). These 2 images are splendid.
