Description
after two hours this render stoped and it is still grainy. That is a probleb with the iray real lights that look good but take forever!

Try an iray section plane and slice away the building just behind the camera.

Splendid image! Well done, even if it took forever to render.

Cool work

Great render even if it is a little grainy (it actually seems to add to the mood of the image though). If it's any consolation, my renders seldom take less than 2 hours (using a RTX 2070). As noted by wscottart, using an Iray sectional plane can help get light into the scene. you can also extend the "Max Time" in the render settings to ensure it finishes rendering (I set mine to 0, that way it will render until the image reaches convergence, or I decide it's good enough).
Keep up the great work!!

good advice I didn't know

only 2 hours and it's that free of grain? too many times mine render overnight. Even with the grain, it's a great image. But Gilly better not drop that baby!

thanks

Really nice work on this, my friend!
Just re-installed DS on the machine with the RTX2080ti.. Once I get everything installed and working again, I'll try some stuff to reduce the grain.. I'm no DAZ expert, but I've had some success before when I was using the 4.11 beta.. I just need to remember what the heck I did..

I know to increase the time. It is usually in low light

EXcellent work nevertheless. What you can do is apply Denoise on you image.
dakotajaroo
beautiful composition, iray lighting is difficult in a closed environment
