even bigger variation...you have that sky again with water below, in the wings; only this time it's a post sunset or pre sunrise sky, all pinks and muted yellows. And the bands creep into the torso (verrrrry subtly---sweet technique!). And you have those pinks running through the lower legs and in some other spots. But whoa: The torso is suddenly a primal shelled creature: It reminds me of trilobites, those prehistoric, heavy duty crawlies that look like a cross between a lobster and a gigantic beetle. You've beveled or scalloped the shell plates, wonderful colors on them, and you've layered them like shelled organisms, or like the movable plates on an insect's body. Primal and quite beautiful, and all calmed out by that pinkish ocean sky in the wings. And you've got a yellow-to-ivory background, which sets off the bug beautifully. The transformations keep coming...this is a very exciting series!
