after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Keep the faith brother. I stepped away for a while and I regret it. Just do as much as you want and can but keep moving forward because you have true talent.

Keep your head above the depression sea; you can still bring lots of contributions to the society. You have many great assets, intellectual and spiritual. I become more and more involved in politics, for example. Do not abandon the so-great America; keep God close to your heart.
I love this somewhat sad, but such a beautiful creation or yours; amazing brilliant colors and composition; that inspires me.

This is so calming and beautiful though--so many people get a lift from your art, it's really appreciated!

A beautiful and peaceful world you made, Steve. Far better than the here and now to be honest.
Don't let your muses go. It's how we can cope with the uncertainty and chaos of the real world. If I had the last three months to do over, I wouldn't have cast Shion and her friends aside to try doing this dark and depressing take on Covid-19. I wrote myself into a hole with that.
Listen to Tina and Tena, and all your other muses. Don't let the real world grind you down. (And I'm telling myself this as well.) Take care, be safe, and create!

This is a bit different for you. I like it. The background is beautiful, she looks so high up in the clouds. The lighting on the cliff is excellent. I wonder is she's hiding from, or waiting for, the cool flying ships, her pose could mean anything. Good work, Steve, I really do like this scene.
I understand the struggles of trying to stay focused and creative. Suggestions if you want some: create a series of images on a theme, ie: the same character, a series of color, a few different views of the same scene, or all animals.

Keep up the great work! Hope things in RL improve soon. I can relate, I lost another source of income yesterday due the virus. A pretty depressing blow. But focused on what I can do rather than what I can't, and things got a bit better.
Just remember your art brings a bit of light and joy into the lives to everyone who view it. Not a huge consolation for rough times, but maybe it can help a bit. Take care my friend.

A departure from your usual style, which may be both a signal for change (it is said that drastic changes in women's hairdos are a manifestation of a change in their lives...😁) as well as proof that creativity is still strong. I used to hammer on my synthesizer keyboard for hours when I was frustrated, now (to probably the relief of the neighbours), I do 3D images. Best of luck!
