Description
I probably seen okra when I was young, because many neighbors were growing vegetables. I did not see in recent history (50 some years) until a friend put out seeds with the roses

That's my staple crop, grows in heat and flourishes. I planted 3 rows of emerald green and they are pushing up fast in this rising heat. They will average about 6 feet and produce one up to a pound or more of edible pods a day. Just have to keep them picked before they get spiny.
