Description
as the majority of cities in the US ban fireworks in the city limits an /or county wide ban and the majority "100%" shoot fireworks without fear of enforcement .
Bodie is terrified and hiding in the building. he will not leave and it is extremely hot there, the idiots has been shooting the fireworks everyday for more than a week. an worse too many are shooting guns. I hope he does not die tonight. I tried to get him out with cheese, but will not budge

even when the firework debris fall on your roof? I have found roman candles on my roof several times over the years

I've been hearing fireworks all week, even though we're in Red Flag conditions (i.e. extreme fire danger). People are stupid.

I hate to say it, but the way things are going we are well on the way to 100% anarchy. People - especially certain groups - seem to be under the impression that they can do what the #### ever they want to do with complete impunity. It's the 5th, and the a##hole 2 houses down is raising hell with fireworks and his obnoxious rap-crap again tonight.
I hope Bodie is OK..

a beautiful sky capture, with great light on the clouds, behind deep dark cloud-faces (the parts of the clouds facing us). The rays are like silk. This and the next shot are beautiful examples of your sky shooting. And yes, the 4th of July can bring out some pretty obnoxious people, as if 'danger' didn't exist, and no one else were within hearing distance. It's always a mixed holiday because of that...and I'm glad Bodie got through it ok...
