Daz 4.? Iray Photoshop, lots and lots of photoshop.
This is an oldie from 2018 I snagged from my artstation site to post here. I was working on one today with a bunch of Fireangel's stuff but Daz crashed in all it's resource hogging glory. Ah well, back to square one. Sorry Fireangel. It woulda been grand! Epic Even! OK, maybe not but we'll never know now.
In the meantime, here's a blast from the past. There is a ridiculous amount of stuff in here, most of which I covered in firefight. And no text wall today! You guys are so lucky.
These are three of Kharsha's lads of the 142 émergencé battallion, 7th Illyrican Marine Corps. Cheezyclaws, Parkay, and Tikun in the rear during the Illyrican Revolution in September of 6648. Cheezyclaws and Parkay will be killed in the next half hour during an intense firefight here in Constitution Square against the Senate Gaurd and 137th army Division. Vudu is in the smoke to the right, carrying more rockets for Cheezyclaws, She can't be seen. Help is coming from the Loyalist 184th Division, and The Parkway Irregulars (a local militia unit). In a little more than 48 hours, the Regime will fall.
Vudu and Tikun survive the war.

A scary scene, it looks much more like a real battle scene than most 3D depictions just because you made it so messy. A real sense of chaos as well as the determination of the soldiers, they really look like folk you would not want to mess with.

Holy FRAK!! Seriously.... I can only give this 5 stars? More like 50,000... This. Is. Epic. Jeeze, We need some of these guys right now to join up with T.N.A. and help straighten out this gawd-awful mess this planet is in.. I love the names... Cheezyclaws and Parkay... Seriously, I'm sitting here saying "Par-kaaaaaay..."
Seriously awesome stuff, Mr. Bat!
Yeah, Fireangle's stuff is great - keep your eyes peeled for something hitting the MP soon.
Just finished my first major render after getting DS reinstalled and configured on the RTX2080ti beast. I'm smiling right now - it should be up in the next day or so. I still need to get all the Poser stuff linked up.. Fun stuff!

After Cheezyclaws popped into my head, I couldn't resist naming the other fellow Parkay. Man. get caught with cheeto dust on your fingers ONE time....

Great job, Shawn!

Ah that was a great show! So was The Starlost in a really tacky Canadian way.

This is MadBat-tastic! Good to see these guys again. Vudu has always been one of my favorites...

Totally awesome scene and so action packed. I am glad this image survived Father Time. Don't you just love hobbyist render software. " Gee I am sorry. Pixar RenderMan just crashed and took my whole project with it. I guess I put to many geometries into it. " I've also had my most epic renders destroyed beyond recovery with Poser 11 and I know the feeling.

I haven't used P11 much yet, But I did use PP2012, a lot. For me that worked really well compared to Daz Studio. In Poser you can control the number of cores used. Daz will literally suck everything it can get.

Holy shit looks like hell. I wonder what the hell was so powerful that it caused these fierce beasts to lose the fucking war. I mean god damn look at them they like a bunch of Orcs on the charge. That is of course if they didn't win. If they did topple a regime it's obvious why.
Madbat
No, they were fighting their own dictatorial government, and over threw it.

Awesome!

a stunning cinematic image which really shows what can be done with the tools at hand — in the right hands; great looking outfits and post work and like the triangular composition between the characters that keeps the eye moving to give it dynamism
