This is like a nighttime shot into a deep, mysterious fractal jungle. Your light says "night" all over, and I love the deep black abysses. The 'plantlife' is wonderfully segmented and primal: The leaves and stalks careen outwards like snares for anyone who comes too close. And while this is about connections, it's pretty apparent that we could get a little 'too' connected if we got too close. Wonderful tangles and fractal-y ganglia, some of which look like elaborate keys or gothic tracery, with wonderful combos of greens and rust tones, etc. You created an 'entry', a surface beyond which is a deep dark jungle. Your light is so convincing: It really looks like someone shined a light on the edge of a deep fractal forest. Beautifully done, Barb, and very rich.
