How did we elect him ? Well it is called the Electoral College.In the U.S. you can lose the popular vote and still be deemed the winner. That's how Trump came to office. In the Electoral College system, each state gets a certain number of electors based on its total number of representatives in Congress. Each elector casts one electoral vote following the general election; there are a total of 538 electoral votes. The candidate that gets more than half (270) wins the election.

As to how he ran his business's, well it was always into the ground. That is probably why he fought all the way to the Supreme Court to avoid showing his taxes. It was all about Daddy's money for the dumb-azz. He even bankrupted Casinos when he owned them. In NY real estate he bankrupted again and again. I wouldn't be surprised if the real movers in New York society look at the Trump as a gritter and trailer trash.

I don't live in US, but from here I see him as the last weapon against communism, China communism. I don't know how The United States of America will if the next president don't fight against it. As a Canadian I see what's happening with COVID-19 and truly feel bad for those who have died, dying and will die from this. More damage has been done to America's loyal Allies in the last three years than in the last 200 or more years. Fortunately where I am, we have only 325 cases of COVID-19 and 7 people , yes only 7 have died. Active cases ate around 10 people. I am not a fan of any politician but our Premier (like your Governors) said stay inside, do this, do that, don't do, etc. and now we are nearly back to some kind of normalcy. I have seen data that says the mitigation approach Canada took kept anything like our initial spike or the secondary spike from happening. I'd like to hear from you if you get a chance.
