Very sweet grays, with lots of deep black all around, and 'ghost' images on the left and behind the blackbird. It's ironic that the blackbird is the brightest thing in your photo (because of the name "black" bird). I love the ghost leaves behind its tail, and the smudge of light behind its neck. Beautiful textures on the object that the bird is standing on, too. I know these dark moments before a thunderstorm: We have those in the Midwest---the sky turns dark as night, and then the sky explodes with thunder and rain (Gewitter)...Another thoughtful piece from you, with mystery and real beauty. Again, I wish you and your family the best of health. I hope everyone is healing.

thank you for wonderful comment, and yes its a blackbird and they are very black, in fact the male are black and the female are brown - so this one was a female and not this dark. best p.
