Description

Overall Sapphire is an ordinary looking black cat with her makeup being done by Jewel who also likes to have "skin bling". Both Sapphire and Jewel are Norwegian but speak English as well. Jewel Teaches weapons at the school of Witchcraft, she specializes in the Bow but can use any traditional melee or ranged weapon. She does not use muskets or flintlocks though as she finds them unreliable. In 1692 there is not much available in the way of firearms anyway. Sapphire is the Mil Cat from DAZ, the Bast texture as well. Jewels' ranger outfit is also form DAZ. I have no ida how long this one took to render but it was only about 25% done when I went to bed.

A beautiful character, I love her hair and skin. The painted kitty is pretty. I like the idea.

I see Sapphire has her priorities straight while on patrol!! ;-) Lovely scene of these characters against that charming wizard's wagon. My guess re: the long render: it's caused by using ray traced shadows with trans-mapped plants. Would probably be faster if you switched to depth-mapped shadows and/or turned "cast shadows" off on a few of the plants. Or at least that's what I'd do, as I don't have the patience for final renders that take longer than 20-30 minutes max!

LOL I don't mind the wait for the more detailed render and yes it is for the shadow mapping :-)

Cool image, mysterious character and setting. Love Jewel's outfit too, looked for it on DAZ but couldn't find it. Could you point me to it?
