Description

Ramesseum Many times I was a guest in a small hotel on the West Bank in Egypt. My favorite place was the Ramesseum. A temple built by Ramses II. The silence and tranquility there was uniquely beautiful. I painted the drawing in memory of these beautiful times. The old tamarisk tree really stood there. I hope you like it! Superb composition and coloring. I'm especially impressed by the foliage and the high degree of realism of the rocky hill. If you hadn't told me, I would have thought this was digitally rendered rather than hand-drawn. Truly I stand in awe of your talent. Keep up the good work. :)
