Description
DS 4.12, Photoshoopdedoop. CS6
This Wednesday render was just a test of Havva by Deva3D, with a few DM props. I ditched the scene file so I'm not sure exactly what HDR I used, but it was a DM one. The table is from Whitespring collection 6 but has been retextured from other DM sets. As far as editing goes, beyond the text all I did was a bit of color correction and some subtle tone changes in Topaz labs 2. My free subs to Lightroom and PS CS 2020 have expired so no more of that nonsense. I am not renting software. On that note, if you are looking for a good quality and low cost paining program (it also does 2D animation), I recommend Krita. You can get it for free from krita.org or support the development and grab it on Steam. The steam version just makes installing easy, and gives automatic updates for each new version for the low cost of about $10. (It's 10.99 Can)
No real story here, but I was thinking of a young woman, just home for the summer from university. She's thinking of years past when things were simpler without the pressures of facing adulthood, responsibility, and global insanity. She misses her old friends, and the carefree days of summer's not long past.
On the local COVID front here, where I am, we are sitting at 198 active cases, with a provincial total of 701 active cases and 163 deaths. Total confirmed cases are at 8,912 with 8048 recovered. Today's spike of 80 has 30 from unknown exposure for a total of 966. I feel sorry for all my American friends who will no longer get any accurate information now that the Circus has stopped the CDC from collecting data. When things get bad, hide the numbers I guess. So, while this bloody thing lasts, remember the drill, wash your damned hands, really stop touching your face, and wear em if you got em. This bugger is airborne, so maintain a 2 meter (2 yard) distance wherever possible.
Stay safe folks.

A beautiful render and very creative.
As to "America's Truth Embargo"'...It had to expected of the tyrant in the White House. I am reeling , unsure of how we get the TRUTH. But TRUTH always finds a way. To think your neighboring country has now become North Korea.

A lovely calm at-home image. Beautiful window light.
paul_gormley
like the warm lighting suggesting a nice sunny day outside, here (Japan) the skies are grey after three weeks of constant rain. Also like the slumped student pose, very natural looking.

wonderful mood here, and yep some people still dont get it,we keep our distances and when we go outside a mask is a must.as you know me with my asthma (COBD or whatever they call it nowadays, lol)i am vulnerable, and ute as well is vulnerable.although i am part of a study meaning i get completely tested blood ,nose, and even stool i give every 14 days,i am negative but i developed some antibodies wich is good news considering my disease.anyway we keep to ourselves most of the time and life is good to us (at the moment) be safe man.

Where I work, a food bank, we require everyone to wear a face mask. If w they don't, they don't get food.
Great image and commentary.

This is truly a lovely scene, Shawn. With our current project of going through all our stuff here, I can soooo relate to her musings and reflections on times past. I kinda wish I had access to a time machine right now..
I don't even follow the stats anymore...Three words sum it up: "We're all screwed"... Or at least until we vote that abomination out of office. I'll take Jar-Jar Binks....

Such a lovely late-summer mood to this--a little melancholy, but sweet too.

The splash of light and her pose really marry so well with the words you used here. A really beautiful and wistful mood here. Great work! :)
bakapo
This has the most amazing lighting; so realistic! Her pose is a pose I think a lot of us are doing these days.... remembering and wishful thinking.
