Description
In honor of one of our most entertaining Chihuahua-mixes, Micky, who would always begin to swim when held within a few feet of any body of water he might plausibly have been lowered into.
Rendered in July 2020 in Poser Pro 11 Firefly at 4400 × 2475 pixels, using direct lighting (two inverse-square point lights and an IBL light). View full size on my blog.

Thanks for the comment! I take it you've seen this behavior in a Chi-mix before? I used to do Chi rescue, but Micky was the first one I had that did "the swim," and we found it hilarious! He even started doing it once when I was carrying him near a lake :-)

I take it your Chi-mix does this too?! Micky is no longer with us, and none of the three Chi-mixes we have now do "the swim," but apparently it's not that uncommon among small dogs! Thanks for your comment :-)
