I just want to fall into a shallow pool of water looking at it. Of course, its pretty hot here today. I'm asmathic, so when it hits about 84*, I have all sorts of trouble breathing.

Keep your desert. I'll keep my AC!

Lovely picture, by the way.

the colours look bleached in an interesting way, that to my eye reminds me marquetry and the kind of foliage Frank Lloyd Wright used to adorn his drawings; this is a super photographic composition imho

I feel like I’ve walked this path. One thing to be sure of, there will always be a rattlesnake sunning themselves on a rock. Watch where you step. A very lovely picture.

daggerwildo must really know this terrain...this is a beautiful picture to begin with, but then you've added a texture over it which makes it look like it was carved out, or etched out, with a slight amount of bas relief. It's a beautiful effect, and it gives this primal landscape a feel of nostalgia, like this shot was from the early 1900's. The shot itself centers around an open space in the brush, and it's very effective. An arid, primal capture.
