Description

In the 20ies and 30ies it was the pioneer age of aviation. In this age postal routes were established through the empires of Great Britain and France. The Britons connected their empire with the mainland and the french did it with their empire in Africa. It was a run for licenses to establish connections to South America too. The leading pioneers to South America were the Germans and French, while the Britons were the leading pioneers to Asia and Australia. It was a harmful job to fly postal bags around the globe... Here we see a French Latécoère 28 over a North African village on the way to south, may be to Senegal...

Here we see a French Latécoère 28 over a North African village on the way to south, may be to Senegal... Les principaux pionniers en Amérique du Sud étaient les Allemands et les Français, tandis que les Britanniques étaient les premiers pionniers en Asie et en Australie. C'était un travail dangereux de faire voler des sacs postaux dans le monde entier ...

On voit ici un Latécoère 28 français sur un village nord-africain en route vers le sud, peut-être au Sénégal ... Die führenden Pioniere in Südamerika waren die Deutschen und Franzosen, während die Briten die führenden Pioniere in Asien und Australien waren. Es war eine schädliche Aufgabe, Posttaschen um den Globus zu fliegen ...

Hier sehen wir eine französische Latécoère 28 über einem nordafrikanischen Dorf auf dem Weg nach Süden, vielleicht nach Senegal ...

Nice image and good idea! Where is the Latecoere coming from? I have been living during many years in Toulouse, where the Aeropostale fleet was based.
