Experimentation helps develop artistic style.

Each engine has their strengths. I turn to 3delite when I want more of a "toon/game" look. I'm not familiar with Reality. I seem to remember not being able to download it for some reason. But that was quite a while ago.

With iray, there's a lot of depth you can add, via the various maps. More if you dive into geoshells. But it can really push your video card and sometimes to can get a nice artistic effect using other tools.

I used to fiddle with Reality, but I like Iray a lot more. It's a lot faster, and it seems less fussy, but maybe that's just me. Still, the end result is what counts and this looks really good.

Although, she has that "I want to redecorate the whole manor" look to her. Gotta go!

Made me laugh with that comment about redecorating. With what I spend on clothes for her she better be happy she has a roof over her head. If she wants to paint then she can do it her self. Thanks a lot for stopping by and making me laugh.

Well, she has a great environment in which to do her thinking. But perhaps she would be more productive in her thoughts if she had a nice bowl of fresh strawberries and ice cream! Yum yum! I'm making myself hungry now! She is a lovely young lady and I love her outfit. Such a wonderful reflective pose as well! A most delightful work! Fantastic light here! Reality can achieve the most amazing results, although I never quite got the hang of it. This is awesome! :)

I'm loving the light here too! I found Reality a bit slow but it did have a nice warmth to the renders, and this one is a good example! A lovely image of a quiet moment.

I really like Reality. It will run forever if you let it. But from what I can see after about the first hour if that the improvement is actually quite minimal.
