Description

My dedi to those who had to change their plans this year. This summer with all that lockdown we re bound to miss our regular time on the Black Sea coast. Let it be just a few good memories on the virtual canvas.

boy do I love your graphic images...you combine painting with montage with abstraction with sophisticated cartooning with.....(on and on).....I love this. You've taken a perspective image and flattened it into a print. You've made a wonderful pileup of geometric forms, in the style of a European 1930s abstract. You've given it a feel of cutouts and collage. And it has a photographic sense too. And I love the colors---real contrasts, and real repetition. And you carry the forms into the water, as 'ghost' images. An intense, playful and masterful image, I love it. I'm not here often, myself, but it's wonderful when I discover you here. I wish you and all your loved ones safety and health, and hope you come out of it whole and healthy, and in not too long a time. All the best to you, Nikolay. Your art is always a rare treat.
