Description
Nothing special, a G3F, a car & and HDRI Image. Three years ago, my moderately powered i7 with 16G would not render this simple scene. It spent so much time reading and writing to the hard drive it would take forever to render. I still had the scene so I retried it on my AMD 3950 with 64G. It rendered, but it still took over an hour and it used over 47G in memory. There are some oddities with the geometry of the little Fiat model. It is highly detailed in certain areas and lacking in others. I spent a stupid amount of time retexturing it, so it was disappointing the first time when it wouldn't render.

I use an old potato, so I really notice when things tax my system. It can come down to the mesh, and/or the textures. Simple scenes like this either have rediculously high def textures, or the mesh on the car is wonky.
