****Second render with the UV Swap for Genesis 8, and this time I used the little alien Mervin"s skin on both. Two clicks on the female to fit the male skin....doubled my characters. I'm so happy with this, and very little makes me happy these days. Will play more and report results......

You certainly have been one busy little bee :) This came out so well..I really like how the head pieces work with these characters in that setting, and the low-key lighting gives the scene the perfect mysterious ambiance. Little Mervin looks so neglected but very naughty :) Wonder what he's cooking up to do...Look forward to your next endeavor...
I will have to get my butt in gear and go to my other computer and try this UV swap--looks like fun. Also just discovered that G3 textures can be used on G8 characters since they use the same UV, which pleased me to no end.

The UV swap, (without the plug-in) works from G8 male to G8 female, and vice versa, but there are small (white) seams. If you're using the standard faces and clothing it should work without the UV plug-in. Also, a bit of postwork would clear it up, as the areas are small. However, if you want skimpy clothing, where most of the body shows, the plug-in actually shifts the texture to realign it perfectly. I haven't tried any of the extreme head morphs yet, but that's on my list.
