Description
Was getting ready to shut the computer down for the night and just checked the news real quick. I was stunned and saddened hearing the news of the Passing of Peter Green. Back in the day (60s early 70s) he was one of my guitar Gods, Clapton-Peter Green-Zappa-Duane Allman-Johnny Winters.I remember him with John Mayall's Blues Breakers and of course as one of the founding members of the Original Fleetwood Mac, he wrote Black Magic Woman later made famous by Carlos Santana. Really saddens me to hear another Idol has died, makes me feel even older to know another of the influencers of my musical tastes is no longer Jamming...RIP Mr. Green

As much as I love all the incarnations of Fleetwood Mac, I was initially drawn to them for their unique sound, no thanks in part to the guitar work of Peter Green. Yes my youth is vanishing before my very eyes. Nice tribute, Len.

Man, I love that guy! Can't help about the shape I'm in. I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin. But don't ask me what I think of you. I might not give the answer that you want me toβ¦
