What a fancy lady! I'm blessed to say that there's never been a point in my life where I didn't have a dog. Don't know what I'd do without at least one. Currently, I got a Pug named Daisy and my Mom has a chihuahua/poodle Annie, along with her 19-year-old dachshund named Chloe. When the dachshund was much younger we had a rat infestation, due to developers chopping down an orchard to put in houses. That little 6-pound dog accounted for 18 of the giant Norway rats, some of them almost weighing twice as much. Our Newfoundland we had at the time only got 6, lol. He weighed around 120 pounds.
Couldn't think I was living if I didn't have a dog.
Thanks for sharing!

in London you would definitely need a dog as the rats are literally as big as cats :)

She was a very beautiful 'best friend' to have and sounds like she worked well for you too! I had an incredibly intelligent dog for a 'best friend' when I lived in ND and farmed there. Queenie! She helped me feed cattle in the winter every day and kept them in line! She was the best herd dog I've ever seen or had to privilege to work with. I still miss her sometimes. But then with a house full of five cats, that is a major full-time distraction. LOL.
