Description
On that note..."The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." ... they say. Better to die in the air than down in the mud. But then, in either case, gravity is still king.
Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5 model by Neil Wilson. (Your generous soul lives on through your work. Rest in peace!).
Trenches by Pamawo.
Genesis3 figure with uniforms cobbled from every quartermaster I could muster.
Models set up in PoserPro and DazStudio; composed, lighting, many texture adjustments, and rendered in DazStudio; finished in PsCs3.

I really like this one hon. It needs a story to go with it. I think the charm for me is that there is a child-like quality to the two soldiers... like a young boys dream. This would be a lovely piece inside a 'tweens' story book. Really reminiscent of the N.C. Wyeth paintings used those wonderful old books (Robinson Caruso , King Arthur, etc.). xo R.

The pilots were the stars, the knights of the air. But everybody was prone to die. Well made as usually.
