What a perfect capture of the colorful flowers. Dynamite blue!

Thank you. Actually, Trumpet Lilly flowers are white with a yellow interior and orange stamens. Quite beautiful as is. (the plant itself looks like a dead stick 11 months of the year). Thought the photo would be a good candidate to try out some new painting techniques with Painter & photoshop.

Beautiful creation!

haven't been on-line much the last few months but thank you. I like taking what are rather bland boring pics and painting over them, turning them into something a bit more vibrant.

Oh! This is a wonderful image! Splendid vivid color range. Excellent creation!

Thank you. I appreciate the kind comments. I'll try to post the original snapshot (if I can find it) You could then see the drastic makeover. Though the Lilly flowers themselves are gorgeous and impressively large, the photo was quite dull and uninspiring. Dull photos I think make the best candidates for a new paint job.

Alas, this is the only place we will see this variety. You made them quite exciting.
karasmic
Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Sadly, that beautiful plant was killed by a hard frost the following year.

Thank you very much. It was a fun makeover. A bit challenging but worth the effort I think.
