Description
For those unfamiliar with my characters... Connie is the blond, Bonnie is the brunette and they are identical twins.
Connie and Bonnie's lastest acquisition is a vintage B-25 Mitchell bomber with USAAF markings.
Something about the plane just wasn't right. It was missing something and that was nose art.
Hours later, nothing came to mind until Bonnie was looking through my gallery.
"Hey, Connie. C'mere and check this out."
Connie saw CoCo in action and knew right there and then CoCo was going to be the nose art.
"Let's surprise CoCo and bring her up here." Said Connie...
I had modeled a B-25 Mitchell years ago. However the completed model was lost after a Passport USB drive
fell to the floor. All I had left was the landing gears, wings and a partially completed fuselage on another drive.
I watched Midway (2019) and saw the part where Doolittle was going to bomb Tokyo and I was inspired.
There were many B-25's for sale but almost all were .max types and costing hundreds of dollars.
I came across a free one that looked pretty good but would need some modifying. I found out later it was a solid block of .obj
and parts could not be spawned in Poser. I chopped up the obj and used the fuselage and engines. My landing gears
were added because they had rotating wheels and the front wheel steered.
Anyway, I plan to make a few animations in the future.
