Watch the animation here: https://youtu.be/dsJgvWAspY8 Within the course of only a few months the U.S. has lost over 150,000 people to the COVID-19 virus which spread across the world in the beginning of 2020. Every day people are confronted with raising numbers of new infections and additional deaths. These numbers are getting so high that they are hard to grasp. Being a 3D-artist, I’ve tried to visualize this sad milestone by creating a film showing what 150,000 crosses spread out on a field would look like. This short animation is dedicated to all the loved ones we’ve lost to this pandemic. It is also a tribute to all the heroic men and women who are putting their own lives on the line every day to keep you and me safe. Support the hard fighting people on the front line by wearing a face mask, washing your hands thoroughly and by keeping a safe distance to others around you. We are all in this together.
