Anglais (traduction automatique) Hello, and thank you for coming to visit me!
I live in the south of France, in the Tarn. I have always been passionate about images, especially photography (ah, black and white film ...).
For a few years, I created images with 3D software: Poser of course (Poser4 at the start ...), Cinema4D, Vue. You can see some of these images at the start of my gallery on Renderosity.
Then, with age and fatigue helping, I returned to my first graphic love: photography.
I especially like to show what is not always considered interesting: insects, animals that we meet without seeing them, and if possible to make a portrait of them that we enjoy seeing.
I also really like the architecture, especially religious, that I discover during my rare travels
My partner Danielle is also present on Renderosity, under the pseudo of Leije

Delightful. I believe I see some faces (carved or pottery) at the very end of the ledge next to the third pot down...

Stunning photo - the old brick / stone patterns are so interesting and all the flower pots. We don't have old buildings like that - your photos are always so interesting to me.

I always wonder in all these beautiful buildings, as houses, castles and churches how many bricks they had to gain to create this all. Are there still places where they restore everything with these bricks again?
Jean_C
I don't know the number of stones that were used ... But in the past, materials from an abandoned building were often salvaged for new construction? For example, in a church from the Middle Ages in the Pyrenees, you can see that the builders used stones from a temple from the time of Julius Caesar!
Nowadays, the repairs to old classified buildings must be done with materials as close as possible to those of origin.

Excellent scene. I do so like the juxtaposition of vibrant green plants in glazed pots against the ancient and craggy walls.
