Top lighting. Although I agree that an implied horror works often better than showing everything I would have given that creepy crawler a bit more room.

I tried showing more of the creature, but the woman is the focus of the image and exposing more of the creature made it the focus of the image. There is the strong hallway that acts as an arrow toward the creature and I wanted the viewer to sort of discover it, rather than have it blatantly obvious. The less you show the more they imagine.
