This is a great image! For me, it is a metaphor for what this country is going through and will be going through more intensely leading up to the election...we are right at the precipice, and very little will be needed to push us over the edge...very scary...

I'm gonna try to catch up on your images over the next days (I'm not officially online, but I've wanted to get to these jewels for a while), so I'll start with the earliest one I didn't comment on...
I can see why barb (goldie) sees this as a pic of our present condition. But I see another mystical creative scene from you. Love that this mermaid is riding a giant turtle, atop a big wall of falling water. She doesn't look concerned, in fact the turtle is her guardian, taking her across troubled waters with total mastery. The background shows a beautiful sunset, with a leaping dolphin and a large moon...and in the foreground (a real barb touch) you've made the wall of water into an aquarium, where we see fish in schools and a jellyfish, etc. The image looks irised with shadow around the edges, like a dream. And of course there are the flares on the mermaid, and her beautiful outfit. Another highly creative winner from you. (I shouldn't say "winner"---it's not a competition!---trump is getting to me, esp after last night's debacle---I'll rephrase it as "a beauty," which is much better, with the added perk of being true...)
