I can't be your Rock, Rena, but maybe I can be a pebble to help ease your path!

You still make beautiful images, Rena.

It is the e-mail notification of it that made me visit Renderosity after many years, but you may rather have kept your husband. My strong-felt condolances!

I'll see if I can now update my Profile, which will amount to: I do hope to come back, but I don't yet plan to come back. No time...

OMG Rena I didn't know. I am so so sorry for your loss. :( So I hope what I am about to say will bring some comfort. I have been a member at this site for more than 20 years now, and remember you and your amazing art and content from all that time ago. You have been one of the most inspiring for me, in all respects, and with this image you continue to be that. Thank you for some of the things that helped me to create when I didn't think I could. I can't even imagine what you are going through, but I hope you know how much you mean to people. :)

Stay strong and embrace your love for art. You'll find it will be a balm for your soul in these dark and dreary days that you'll face with all the sorrow. I can attest, lost my mom to cancer in October 2019 and art has kept me from losing my inner fiber to grief. Keep swimming and you'll get to where you want to be in time. :)

I'm soooo sorry about your loss. I can't even imagine how devastating that must be. But I hope you take some small comfort from all the responses here by people who are thinking of you and who can attest to the healing power of art. Your new image is striking and lovely even without the context, but it takes on a much deeper meaning as a representation of what you're going through.

A very fine image with an original POV. Hard to deal with a close personal loss. Art cannot heal but hopefully it can make it easier to bear.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Keep being strong. It will hurt less and less but it will always hurt. One day you will be able to think of him and smile instead of crying. Sending an e-hug your way 💖

I am so very sorry to learn of your loss. But, there will be the time when the tear in your eye turns into a smile--then you will know you've reached the "top" and can "exhale." Stay well dear lady.
