Description
_______ After these lengthy and dismal months of lockdown, I couldn't wait to head back to the Bernese Alps, which I eventually did last week, and I had such a great time putting on my hiking shoes for a couple of memorable hiking tours high in the Jungfrau region, along with some friends.
_______This photo was made on a visit to the little village of Brienz, on the northern shore of Lake Brienz ,near Interlaken, in the Bernese Oberland. Taking a walk in the narrow streets of Brienz is like entering a world of its own, that of the Swiss tradition of building chalets, and making them unique thanks to different and customized wood carvings and a whole range of magnificent flowerbeds and flower boxes , not to mention the sense of national pride of the Swiss who make great use of their national flag to show visitors their love for their country...Speaking of flowerbeds, I thought that the petunia flowers here bear some resemblance with the Swiss flag, don't they?!
_______ Virginie, il n'y avait pas de bureau des postes helvétiques sur les hauteurs de Männlichen et au pied de la face nord de l'Eiger, alors cette photo fera office de carte postale dédiée à La Souris !
_______Thank you for your nice comments about my previous post, have a nice week and take care, while zooming in for more details ...
