Your rendering process does sound tedious, but absolutely worth it for the end result. Very impressive – I love the camera angle and the drab coloring – definitely a mood piece!

Thank you very much! I'm definitely happy with the end result. The camera angle is one of my favorite aspects of the render. Definitely different than the renders I've done before. :)

It is a wonderful render. You are to be commended for sticking with it and getting it done. Sometimes they are just a genuine pain. What’s worse is some of the most painful ones still don’t get if done right as we see it in our minds. I’ve worked on several like that They just never got posted. Happily though sometimes technologies advance and a second try years later is more successful. Still thank you for posting and thank you for the backstory.

Thank you for your kind words. I've made quite a few renders that I wasn't completely happy with (I actually have one I posted recently on DA and still have moments where I feel like I should have started over). I was determined to finish this one, as I had challenged myself to post one render a week. I tinkered with it for about two weeks before I decided to finish it. It allowed me to play around with a lot of things (damp hair and clothes, importing props, weather effects, etc) that I hadn't yet tried out in Daz. Definitely a learning experience.
