A beautiful and seamless integration of the two platforms. What a magical, epic scene. I'm starting to think you lied about being new to Daz, but whatever, hehehe. :) Gorgeous work! :)

LOL...I dabbled in DAZ and then promptly forgot everything. As to this one, it is a trick. The main character is rendered in Poser. The background is rendered in DAZ | studio. I roughly approximated the lighting of the background in Poser. Likewise I chose textures that would closely match the coloration of the background. Next I took both layers into Photo-Shop and played a bit more with coloration until I got something that was somewhat more convincing as being from the same atmo. Then merged the layers and posted. All in all , it took about 5 hours. At least half that time was taken up with the Poser SuperFly Render engine rendering her and her wings.

Thank you for your support. It is a bit magical how the artistic post render process works. You twiddle and twiddle and it is seemingly going nowhere and then something magical happens and it looks right. Well sometimes. Other times , they just get deleted or put on the shelf for another time.

My stuff rarely escapes post render work. But in this case it really had to happen for the piece to work. I lucked out in many ways that the options were there in both Poser and DAZ | studio for the piece to work. Thanks for your views and comments. i greatly admire your work.

cool work! and good workflow! so you switch between 3 programs? ... it's nearly like i do... my 3 programs are DAZ, Photoshop and Blender... but Blender i just started to explore some weeks ago while i was trying to create my own G8F Character...

Yepper, this one went through all three to come to life. I may have missed a golden opportunity to run her in Reality versus Poser. Reality is another great render engine and does wonders with metallic s and glass like objects, as well as skin tones, Well there is always the next one to play with.
