We close our minds to the wonders of the world, and so we no longer see the hidden things. The mermaids, the unicorns, the dragons. Better to encourage the child that imagines such things so that imagination never dies. I see too many people running around with their imagination crushed. Like the walking dead, as if a piece of their soul has been taken away.
Never stop dreaming, my friends.
