man, what you do with those shiva oil sticks...I'm only back for one image p/gallery tonight, I'll be back for more soon...but this thing jumps right off the page. Intense gaze, great eyes, you use white for real contrast and expression...This has an almost sad clown look, but it goes much deeper; and the solid black around it sets it off, as do those muddy purple and rust-hued lips. You really dived into expression in your portraits. This bursts into our space...and I love the dripping blacks down this person's left eye (on our right). Terrific.
