"ask thyself... feelest thou lucky? Well, dost thou, punke?"
Another scene mucking about with the bundled items in DAZ, this time using G3, the bundled Dark Storm outfit and the free Fantasy Banquet set. Additional props (the pistol and hat) from Cybertenko's Athos, and G3 mats from Rhiannon's Aradia. Fabiana's superb lights.

"Umm... Parlay?"
This is a great scene. Amazing how jist adding a couple little things can make those older "sample" items look good.

Buy her another jug of claret and maybe she'll talk first...
Thanks Lyle...definitely a case of less is more for this one. I did several iterations removing daggers, scrolls and tableware till i got something that would render reasonably quickly but retain the feel.

hahahahahaha and lol also to Lyle's response. Fantastic image, Joe. I love the golden lighting here, and the entire way you've composed and framed this scene. Do you know I've never even looked at the bundled stuff? Maybe I should. I really also have to shout out to the focal length here, the way it seems as though the viewer is the person at the other end of this table. Way to pull us right into the work itself. :)

Thanks Bella, I usually use a focal length of between 45-50 mm (more or less human field of view) ; I find the DAZ default more suited to close portraits. One of the best things i found in the freebies (part of the banquet set) was the candle with lots of controllable meting morphs and drips. I'll be using that again I expect! I also rather like the table, though you cant see it very clearly here, but has a lovely baroque marquetry top.
