We are very proud to announce the winner of this months "Artist of the Month" - Ute Reichling [UteBigSmile]. Ute received nearly twice the number of votes from the Renderosity community for the Artist of the Month. She is a highly regarded artist and friend to many in the community. Ute works primarily with DazStudio and in Mixed Mediums, as you can see in her gallery. She is a talented and imaginative artist who creates evocative imagery which is often infused with themes of fantasy, science fiction, folklore and domestic scenes from history. Ute has contributed an astonishing 3,457 digital artworks since joining Renderosity in 2005.

I'm very happy to announce that after a week of voting Renderosity members have overwhelmingly chosen UteBigSmile as the Renderosity Artist of the Year! Ute is a strong member of the community having posted over 3,000 of her artworks to Renderosity galleries since she joined in 2005. She was chosen "Artist of the Month" for June, 2015 and works primarily with Daz Studio and Mixed Mediums. They are lovely God's children,,, they have hunted the Blue Whale they have almost killed off the big cats... I remember from my younger days... if the birds had guns and could shoot back at the hunters it might just even up the game

What a terrible dilemma! Big game hunting of animals that are not on the endangered species list is a major source of capital in some African countries south of the Sahara. And some of that money is used to protect endangered animals and to fight poaching. And some of it supports the guides and their families, men who might otherwise be unemployed and forced to resort to poaching.

This statement is absolutely true. It makes your are a hard question who are the real Animals. The sad truth comes back it is us. I have zero respect for trophy hunters or any other lame excuses about how they’re helping indigenous populations through their cruelty. If you want to help indigenous populations why don’t you roll up your sleeves and do some work alongside them. This is a very well stated piece. I respect you even more for posting it.
