gorgeous! I had a friend (years back) who, whenever she was excited, yelled "Yahtzee!!!" I have no idea why---she never played the game, she just liked the expression. Well, when I saw this the first time, I blurted out, "yahtzee!!!" Often your backgrounds reflect the character's state of mind, or their wish, or their act etc, by celebrating it. That's what happens here. The woman, all repose, holds a potion---which you keep mysterious; in fact it looks like a mini temple with a light atop (actually, I think it's a reflection from the sun), and she has beautiful light/shadow on her as well. And the surrounding is alit with mystery and bursts, surrounded by deep mysterious forest and water. Even the cabin is sunken in shadow. It's got a primeval forest feeling, and it's doused in a deep sepia brown-green early morning mystery hue (sounds like the name of a late 60s rock album), and you've packed in a staring cat, a small vessel, a beautiful candle (also lit by the sun), and your usual way with decoration and outfit on the woman. Magical and beautiful. I wish I were there instead of here right now, free from the present turmoils...
I have to stop now, but I'll be back soon. I don't know if it's possible for these to get better, but they just keep coming, and I've loved coming here each time one of them went up. Thanks as always, barb, for all your kindness, support and care, on all fronts. It's very special to me, and I appreciate it greatly. I'll be back soon...
